How To Get Your First 100 Youtube Subscribers

Your first 100 YouTube subscribers will typically be harder to achieve than your firsts 1,000!

In the beginning it takes a little bit more time for your brand to establish authority and trust amongst your followers.  But the good news is that in time as momentum picks up it will get easier, and your channel will grow more effortlessly.

If you’re reading this then you’re most likely new to YouTube and looking for some tips on how to grow your channel.

Truth be told it took many videos and quite some time to achieve my first 100 YouTube subscribers!  I remember how frustrating it can seem when your channel is growing at a snails pace.

I’ve learned a lot from my own journey with YouTube and thought I would share the lessons I’ve learned and some tips for those that wanting to grow their channel.

If I were to start all over from scratch, these would be the exact techniques I would use.   I have used all of them, continue to use them, and would absolutely use them again to build a new channel!

I’ve helped many friends now who have built their own YouTube Channels and some of them have way surpassed my own!

Step 1

Create “Searchable” content.   In order for your channel to grow you need to get traffic.  The more people that view your videos the higher probability that some of them will subscribe.  So what you want to do is to create content that people are most likely searching for.

Examples:

“How to” videos

Review Videos – Videos that are reviewing a product or service

Videos that document an experience – “Day 30 of the 30 day No Alcohol Challenge”

These types of videos will have a higher probability of been watched because they are topics that people may be searching for.

Step 2 – Promote On Social Media

Post your videos onto all of your social media handles such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.

Step 3 – Post in Groups

Post your videos in Facebook and Reddit groups that are related to your video.  If you have a video about Crossfit workouts, then post that in a group related to Crossfit.

Step 4 – Advertise

For as a little as a $1 a day you can promote your videos on YouTube and receive thousands of views that can turn into subscribers.  It’s cheap and effective!

Step 5 – Be Consistent

Social media loves consistency and will reward you for being consistent.  Youtube will start to promote your videos for you if you are consistent! Free advertising 🙂
